Fees   The annual subscription is £11.00 per member. The year runs from 1st April through to 31st March of the following calender year. However, people joining between 1st January and 31st March are only required to pay the subscription for the coming year. Some special interest groups require the payment of an additional annual subscription.

Main group meetings normally take place at 2.15pm on the third Thursday of the month in the Parish Hall of St Mary's Church. The hall has access for disabled people.

Special Interest Groups meet during the day with some meeting in members' homes.

Beverley & District U3A is a member of "The Humber Accord" - the other groups who are members are based in Cottingham, Hessle, South & North Cave and Swanland in East Yorkshire. Within agreed guidelines, members of one U3A can take part in the activities of another.


 

List of or examples of study groups
Book Circle: Meets on the Third Monday of the month to discuss a book selected at the previous meeting.
Computers: Three groups, ranging from beginners through to advanced, meet monthly.
Country Dancing: Meets on the first and third Monday of the month in St Mary's Parish Hall.
Cycling: Meets weekly on a Wednesday.
Digital Camera: Meets on the second Tuesday of the month.
Discussion: Meets on the third Friday of the month to discuss a topic agreed at the previous meeting.
Handicrafts: Meets monthly on the third Friday of the month.
Garden: Meets monthly with either a speaker or a visit to a local garden.
Musical Interest: Meets monthly on days to suit members with a topic agreed at the previous meeting.
Latin: Three groups, ranging from beginners through to advanced, meet monthly in St. Mary's Parish Hall.
Outside Visits: On an irregular basis depending on availablilty.
Theatre: Matinees on an irregular basis depending on theatre programmes.
Walks - Long: Approx. 8 miles on the second and forth Thursday of  the month.
Walks - Short: Approx. 5 miles on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
German: Meets fortnightly at the leader's home.
Poetry, prose and Plays: Meets monthly in St. Mary's Parish Hall.
