WELLAND, the younger and smaller of the two U3As in Stamford, was formed in 2000. The monthly meetings take place on the 4th Tuesday of each month, December excepted, at Barn Hill Methodist Hall. We are open for coffee and a chat in the hall at 10.00am  and the meeting starts at 10.30am. You are welcome to come along as a visitor before deciding if you wish to join. People also meet together between meetings, sometimes in halls, sometimes on a visit out and sometimes in each other's homes, in order to persue their various interests. This offers a way of getting to know people and developing your own interests and friendships at the same time
