The Club was formed in 1999 due to the other local club (Burnham U3A) getting too large. Highbridge grew slowly,its members are primarily socially orientated its weekly Coffee Mornings are extremely well attended. Academic subjects are not very popular but trips to theatres and places of interest are well supported.
