Approx no of study groups 55: All activities take place between 9-30am and 4-00pm
Fees From January 2008; Annual Fee £10. 1 January to 31 December. Half price From September to December. Session Fee £1 including tea/coffee & biscuits (Walking 50p pr session) Enrolment any time during the year. Choice of group depends on vacancy available.
Leek U3A provides recreation, education and companionship for people who are not in full time employment, usually aged over 50, there is no upper age limit.
It is a member led organisation, managed by a committee elected by the membership at the annual general meeting, who are the trustees. All activities are run by voluntary group leaders who pass on their knowledge and skills, members also share skills with the rest of the group members. Enrolment takes place at the HQ Norton House on Thursday afternoon between 2-pm and 3.30pm, except during August.
