Fees   Annual membership is £14 for a single person (£26 for two people at the same address). We do not set a specific time of year for admitting new members, but capacity limitations may mean that at times we have to ask prospective members to go on a waiting list.

 

Maidstone U3A was founded in 1990, and draws members from Maidstone Borough and surrounding areas.  We operate throughout the year.
* Monthly general meetings:  2.00 p.m. on the third Monday of the month, in a hall near Maidstone town centre.  Visiting speakers (most months) give talks on a variety of subjects. 
* All members receive a monthly Newsletter.
* Interest Groups meet monthly, generally in members' homes.  No additional fee is charged, except when a room/hall has to be hired. 
* All Interest Groups meet on weekday mornings or afternoons. 
It may be possible to accommodate a visitor at monthly meetings - please ask one of the contacts below.  £2 is charged, which is credited if the guest subsequently joins Maidstone U3A.

Armchair Travel, Art, Birdwatching, Bridge, Craft, Digital Photography, Gardening (2 groups), Herbal Circle, History, Luncheon,     Mah Jong, Music Appreciation, Play Reading (2 groups), Book Reading (4 groups), Recorder Playing, Scrabble, Walking, Computer users, Family History, Rummikub. 

Suggestions for new groups and offers to lead groups are always welcomed.
