u3a Day Blog 2021

"We had a zoom meeting with Australia u3a today. Our meeting was scheduled for an hour but we had so much to talk about it was about 1h 40 m when we said goodbye.
We shared our roles; the challenges of the pandemic with closed groups; trying to keep members connected; supporting members who are not on-line; lockdown restrictions, vaccine roll-out; different groups such as Bush Walking in the Melbourne area! We are going to keep in touch to share all the benefits of the u3a wherever it is based. It was so interesting talking to Third Agers at the other side of the world who have the same rewards from this organisation and are tackling the same issues and problems.
