Watercolour.I love collecting them along the beach.This month’s title “Different sizes” could refer to just about anything on the planet!

My town of birth was very much connected with clock and watch manufacture. I am still attracted to items that remind me of my grandfather's workshop and any different size spare parts of watches and clocks I was allowed to play with. The different compartments of tools he used gave me a good spacial awareness, which has influenced my later work.

I was inspired to paint these balloons when I saw them drifting quietly by my garden as they were all of different colours and sizes.

From memory - inspired by people. This is a fairly regular sight out grocery shopping. Harrassed mum and "cool" small child who is clearly living in their own imaginary world. Mostly coloured pencil, pastel and some ink brush. On paper.

My watercolour depicts different size fantasy blue leaves.

This is a water colour Christmas card for a dear friend. Depicting her beloved black Labrador and my ginger tom. 

I thought it was a good example of different sizes, done with watercolour pencils.
