Watercolour.I love collecting them along the beach. This month’s title “Different sizes” could refer to just about anything on the planet!

'Clock' by Ingrid Ellis, Weymouth
My town of birth was very much connected with clock and watch manufacture. I am still attracted to items that remind me of my grandfather's workshop and any different size spare parts of watches and clocks I was allowed to play with. The different compartments of tools he used gave me a good spacial awareness, which has influenced my later work.

Different sizes of the sails of Sydney Opera House as viewed from other side against a stormy sky completed in watercolours.
