Modern Pop for Third Agers

Have you ever wished you were a little more familiar with the sort of awful music that younger people listen to? Well, now’s your chance. I am starting up an IGO group that each month listens to and studies one great album from the last 20 years.
The rule will be that chosen albums have to be notable and to some extent influential and made by artists whose first recording was released in the last 20 years (thus moving on one year every Jan 1st).
For the first few months I’ll choose the albums and introduce them. The monthly meetings will consist of some joint listening, more input from whoever has chosen the album and lots of discussion (including expressions of enthusiasm and distaste!).
Chosen albums will be freely available on YouTube or music streaming services.
Whatever the case, you will soon find yourself sounding like an expert as you listen with younger relatives and friends.
