Headteacher of five primary schools. 17 years with Ofsted, 21 years with CoE inspectorate, 15 years ran inspection programme for Association of Sikh Schools. 25 years in Teacher Training. Still involved in education as a governor and as an RE trainer and assessor.

A strange Kentish tale

The story of John Tom of Cornwall who came to Kent in 1832, claiming to be Sir William Percival Honeywood Courtenay. Stoopd for parliament, spoke against the Poor Laws, gathering a band of followers. He shot the man sent to arrest him and the Army arrived. This led the Battle of Bossenden Wood.
