Our Mindfulness and Meditation Series is back!

Mindfulness and Meditation

Following on from a very successful Summer series, our 6 part Meditation and Mindfulness zoom series is back this Autumn. These sessions will be taking place every Tuesday from 4 October until 8 November at 10am, hosted by Mike, John, Ruth and Nancy alongside members of Sheffield u3a’s Mindful Ageing group.  

Our Summer Series involved a variety of activities such as mindful movement, poems, short meditations and breathing exercises. These were framed by themes: Take Notice, Connect, Be Active, Give, Keep Learning, and the Full Monty – bringing it all together.  

Having online events makes mindfulness and meditation accessible to all, wherever you are, and we had some lovely feedback from people who really enjoyed the time to be calm, meditate and learn.

Taking feedback into account, each session of the Autumn series will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long, with option for extension if people wish to stay.
