Theme is 'Yellow'
Specially for Easter - a chick resting within a Devon bank. Unusual shape and colour for a watch. It's amazing what you can do with household sponges and a little bit of photo shop when you are bored. This was taken, today, 4th April 2020, in a street near my home - as I was on my daily walk. I'm not sure what the very-official-looking box was for - maybe Telecoms, or power... but it fitted the theme. Cycling through our now-deserted streets I came across this abandoned bookshop. It used to be so vibrant but the owner passed away a few years back and no one has taken it back on. I just love celandines. My favourite spring flower - resplendent in my garden this morning. As a plastic scale modeller I try to make my models appear as life-like as possible, the "Yellowjack's" aerobatic team colours are also very striking in the sunlight. Got to love a sunny yellow breakfast to start the day off with a smile? One of my main hobbies is sewing so thought I would use that for my photo. I have a love of daffodils but being yellow they can be difficult to photograph. Having asked a fellow photographer in Bramhall U3A he gave me some tips and I produced what I think is a good photo. Fragile Spring. Bored due to lock down 3 weeks gone 9+ yet to go. WOW! Our duck guarding our last banana before the next delivery When searching for a subject I decided to avoid daffodils and any other yellow flowers. I noticed we had some lemons and arranged them on a plate.
