Subject Advice

AI for Everyone

'AI for everyone' consists of a Library, a monthly AI news Online Learning Event, contacts who can be booked to give a talk on AI to u3a members (see AI Speakers in the Library), and an AI Subject Adviser. There will also be an email newsletter coming soon.

The next events are:

  • Monday 27 January at 9.45am. Andrew Rogoyski from the Surrey Centre for People-centred AI will discuss improving people's access to digital media using AI and Kim Blanchard will describe how AI is used to enhance the student learning experience.

  • Friday 21 February at 2pm. David Knott will discuss how AI is being used and regulated in government and Peter Lunio will examine how AI is being used in the housing sector.

You can book a place for these events via the u3a online events webpage. They will be up for booking 4-6 weeks before the event is due to take place.
