'Game Plan' by Angela Owen of Worcester Area Group u3a
Been there, done that, paid the bills, and oh how I long to do it again. I’ve visited all the places on the property cards and the area depicted in the background and many many more. I live in hope of re-turning to do it all again. I used photoshop processing on my photograph of the “America’s National Parks Monopoly” game to create this swirling image.

'Milestone' by Jill Cornwell of Hartley Wintney & District u3a
A contrast to the high tech signs seen today on our roads; this milestone is situated on the A30 just outside our village and is a reminder of the writing style of the past.

Detail of stevedore sundial sculpture in the canal basin near my home.Viewed through the surrounding railings, which form the letter 'O', I can also see the letters 'D', 'T', and 'Q'.

'Wurlitzer' by Karen Coates of Solihull Central u3a
I took this using my Sony bridge camera at Scarborough Fair - a beautiful little museum dedicated to funfair rides, pipe organs, retro vehicles and much more. I liked the enormous range of buttons and keys in sweeping curves.

'Hydrogen, No.1152' by John Guiver of Blackwater Maldon u3a
My inspiration for taking this image of a 1906 Thames sailing barge was that she is up on blocks for her annual inspection. This presented an opportunity to photograph her from an unusual perspective and due to the presence of a rickety pontoon, not get too muddy in the process.

'Busy Still Life' by Shirley Ford of Merton u3a
I decided to look around my home and record the things I’m enjoying doing at the moment that also fit the theme of letters and numbers. It’s a still life photo but represents a lot of pleasant activity such as playing through my book of 50 piano classics or getting out in the garden.

'3 Ps' by Trevor Hosking of Knutsford & District u3a
Thinking about the theme Numbers and Letters I thought at a constructed image based upon 3 and Ps (3 Ps) would fit the bill. I used images of the scrabble letter P (worth 3 points), 3 pennies (3 ps) and 3 peas.

'Postbox' by Serena Neish of Sherborne u3a
I love unusual post boxes, I came across this one on a lockdown walk from home. It’s so bright and cheerful, just what we need.

'Racing numbers and letters by post' by Chris Brennan of Winsford u3a
The only time Royal Mail got involved in Motorsport. Not as reliable as my postman though who has never let us down in lockdown.

'Ticket To Ride' by Barbara Lansdell of Todmorden u3a
The Tornado (60163 "Ticket To Ride") came through Hebden Bridge in September. It was built by the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust and completed in 2008 . Nice to see old skills still in existence.
