Role Descriptions
The Trust provides Role Description templates that can be adapted by u3as. Each description is designed to clearly convey the duties and responsibilities of key committee roles, to help individuals decide whether a role is right for them. To support with this, language has intentionally been made clear, informal and simple, avoiding jargon.
Although there are certain legal Trustee responsibilities that committees must follow, based on the charity regulator for their nation, the full responsibilities of each role will vary across u3as. Please edit and adapt as needed, to match the requirements at your u3a.
