Making your u3a a welcoming space for everyone
What does it cover? Explore how your u3a can become a truly welcoming space for everyone, by looking at simple ways to remove barriers, encourage participation and help all members feel included and respected.
The session will also touch on u3as’ legal responsibilities around equality, diversity and inclusion, and how these can be met in a positive, proportionate and practical way.

Helping your u3a grow

Finance matters
What does it cover? This workshop will cover: ensuring good financial practice within your u3a, discuss reporting requirements - what and to whom, give an overview of speaker fees and paid tutors, and to consider the necessary steps for claiming Gift Aid.
