Entries for the u3a national Short Story Competition are still open, with the deadline approaching on Monday 26 June 2023. The theme is 'Decision(s)'.

Pieces should be no more than 1500 words, and the winners of each judging group will receive a copy of the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook 2023, edited by Alysoun Owen.

Please read the submission rules before entering, and be sure to let your local u3a creative writing groups know about the short story competition.

The judges look forward to seeing what interpretations of the theme you have to offer.

Submit your story and read the competition rules on the u3a Short Story Competition webpage.

Best of luck!
