Joan Owen Collins has a remarkable story to tell. After her husband Eddie contracted encephalitis which resulted in brain injury and loss of memory Joan wrote an amazing book, From Liverpool With Love, which is an account of their life together. This record of their experiences is a great story and an inspiration to others who may be in a similar position.
Joan’s story and other updates and life stories from u3a members can be heard in our second u3a radio podcast. This is available to listen to on our YouTube channel along with the first episode.
