'Planet art' by Fiona Germaine, Arun u3a
A 2020 lockdown planet art challenge. Acrylics on cardboard with heavy toothbrush splatters. More went on the carpet.
'Imaginary Space 2099 - A Comic Jamboree' by Sue Matthews, Hammersmith u3a
Imaginary Space 2099 - A Comic Jamboree. Watercolour plus cut and paste
'Lunar base' by David Wrigley, Fleet u3a
I have two inspirations for this picture. The first is the photo taken on the Apollo 8 mission in 1968, of the Earth rising above the lunar landscape. The second is rather closer to home, the geodesic Biome domes at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Together, they give my interpretation of a lunar base in the not-so-distant future.
'Little Chloe' by Carole Mindham, Hale u3a
Overwhelmed by the expanse of sea.
'SPACE............the final frontier' by Salim Quraishy, Harrow u3a
'Space Reflected' by Shirley Mountain, Chesterfield u3a
Space reflected, whether by mirrors in telescopes or simply on my walls. Digital sketch.
'Lovell Radio telescope' by Anne Pearson, Hale & District u3a
Inspired by a visit to the Lovell Radio telescope set in the peaceful surroundings of rural Cheshire.
'Multimedia' by Liisa Brown, Stroud
This is my multimedia, abstract effort for space.
'My Space' by Dennis Parkinson, Northallerton u3a

'The Moon' by Susie Shaw, Hawkwell Village u3a
Man sitting on the edge of the world contemplating the moon and the vastness of the universe ❤️
‘The final frontier’ in acrylic by Gabrielle Summerhays, Farnham u3a
Looking beyond oneself and our tiny world…..
'Ink & Pastels' by Janie Seed, Duns u3a
I recently attended an art class where we experimented with ink & pastels, I like the soft muted tones that we achieved & would not have thought about combining them otherwise.
'Alien planets' by Jean Turner, Culm Valley u3a
I created this Space interpretation using a piece of wet felting, made in a u3a craft group. The colours of the cosmos covered with cogs and strange shaped beads represent alien planets and civilisations.
'Graceful' by Anona Hermes, Doncaster u3a
Space is so important to us all, whatever we do in our lives. Painting allows you to be immersed in the subject and supports your creativity and observational skills. Dancing allows you to be expressive, interacting with space of the performing area.
'Gas Nebula in Space' by Marian Lewis, West Herts u3a
I did this abstract acrylic with 2 others for my newly decorated bedroom. It reminded me of gas nebula in space
