Earth and sustainable energy light bulb, wind turbines, trees to signify wind energy and sun energy.

Saw this lightning strike over the sea while on holiday  in paphos during a tremendous storm.I thought how much energy  it had.My painting doesn't do justice to the photo I took. 

Energy. A full flowing waterfall in Scotland after a night of rain. I captured this in acrylic.

My water colour painting was inspired by this majestic animal, the tiger. The beautiful orange and black striped coats. A large cat that needs to catch and eat it’s prey for energy. They need energy to survive, providing muscle strength and brain power to cope with the environments in which they live.

Water is the Energy of Life!

This is painted in acrylics. I became fascinated by the huge variety of light bulbs one can buy these days and particularly the retro style filaments and all. Not sure these are energy efficient ?

Watercolour of the changing powerful colours in the mountain sky. 

I had the urge to paint this abstract oil painting one evening. After painting it, it began to remind me of my recent visit to Iceland. I looked back at my photos and found some images taken within the Geysir geothermal area - a natural phenomenon. It is evident that Iceland’s impressive renewable energy story had subconsciously influenced my art! My inspiration is also a source of energy.

Candles create lovely warm energy in my home. I used acrylics and pens for this painting.
