Paint or Draw

My picture is painted in acrylic and I was inspired by a photograph a friend sent me of a sunset over Loch Ness in Scotland.

C IS FOR CAT. I've been going to art classes for a year now after a break of more than 50 years since school. This is my first pastel drawing and was from a photo of my late beloved cat, Marble.

Drawn on a cold, grey, drizzly winter's day when I was imagining something very different!

Watercolour and acrylic ink. My first attempt at ink pouring with watercolour. I used masking fluid at different stages of painting the flowers.

My entry for the 'Beginning with a C' theme is a drawing of a male Chaffinch, using coloured pencils on Mixed Media paper.

Acrylic, composition from several photos. People watching is wonderful, especially sitting at a French Cafe. I loved the way she kicked off her shoes and rested her bare feet on the cool metal of the cast iron table leg.
