Membership renewal

The transition went well.  No issues have emerged following removed of lapsed members and the number of full groups dropped from the high 60s to the low 40s.

Group Leaders meeting

The next group leaders’ meeting will be held on 9 July at 3:00 pm on Zoom.  The link and the agenda will be sent out nearer the time. If there is anything you would like to include in the agenda, please let us know.

Members joining a large number of group

Some recent members have joined large numbers of groups, most of which they have not attended but remained in as members.  Our welcome email to new members now ask them to join no more than five groups in the first instance. We also remind them that all Interest Groups Online groups are organised and delivered by volunteers and ask them to be mindful of this when they communicate with Group Leaders.

Beacon calendar

The Beacon meetings calendar for June is attached.  Members can view this from the Beacon Members Portal. Please note that entries here do not appear automatically – they have to be generated using the “Schedule” tab in Beacon.

IGO Zoom calendar for June  meetings

I’ve used a different format this month.  The calendars have been copied directly from each Zoom account, and are listed separately as Zoom Acc 1, Zoom Acc 2 and Zoom Acc 3.  There is a table at the start of the document which shows which account is used by each group.

Generic Zoom calendar

The Generic Zoom calendar shows which slots are booked to each of our Zoom accounts.

Days are listed as First Monday, Second Tuesday etc.  There are three different coloured slots for each day, showing which groups are booked into each account on that day, as:

This calendar should not concern you unless:

1. You want to change the time or day of your group meetings, and need to check when there are free slots, or
2. You do not currently use an IGO Zoom account and want to see when you could have a slot. 

Please also note that I compile the calendar “by hand” from the Zoom accounts so it may not always be accurate. If you notice any errors, please let me know. The calendar can also change from day to day as new groups start up and groups change their slots.
