The 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Third Age Trust will be held on 15 October 2025 as a hybrid meeting allowing delegates to attend in person or online.
The in-person event will start at 11am and will take place at Sketchley Grange Hotel, Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10 3HU.
Details on how to attend the online meeting, for both voting delegates and non-voting delegates, is shared below.
Full papers including the AGM Agenda and the Annual Report for 2024/25 are listed below.

Attending the AGM
To attend our online AGM, you need to book via the Attend2IT platform using the button below. Everyone is welcome to join.
If you are the voting representative for your u3a please make sure you use exactly the same email address to register to attend that you used to register to vote. If the email address registered to attend the AGM does not match the email address registered to vote on behalf of your u3a, the system will not recognise you as eligible to vote. All voting is done via the online AGM.
If you would like to attend the AGM in person, please book your place on Eventbrite, using the link below, by 11am on Friday 10 October.
If you are the voting representative and wish to attend in person, please bring a charged device with you that you can use to vote in the meeting room. We recommend a laptop or tablet.
How to vote at the AGM
If your u3a has previously registered a voting representative for last year's AGM, or the recent Vice Chair elections, the same member will automatically be registered to vote at the 2025 AGM. No action is needed unless you want to make a change.
If you need to change your voting representative then please fill out the below voting registration form.
If you want to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf then you can also use the below form to do this.
The deadline to submit this form is 11am on Monday 13 October.
Allocation of votes
Based on the paid up members declared to the Third Age Trust as part of the Annual Return process, votes are allocated as specified in Article 17(1) of the Articles of Association of the Third Age Trust:
- up to 200 people in membership - one vote;
- from 201 to 500 people in membership - two votes;
- from 501 to 1000 people in membership - three votes;
- from 1001 to 2000 people in membership – four votes;
- from 2001 to 3000 people in membership – five votes;
- more than 3000 people in membership – six votes.
Only u3as that have provided an Annual Return, declared their membership, and paid their membership subscriptions to the Third Age Trust for 2025-2026 are eligible to vote at the AGM.
As in previous years we will be using a company called Attend2IT to provide a secure platform for the AGM online meeting and associated voting.
