Third Age Trust Trading Limited
Third Age Trust Trading Limited (TATTL) is the Trust’s wholly owned trading subsidiary. Its activities are aligned to the charitable objectives of the Trust, it helps to support the Trust and contributes to the u3a movement.
Having a trading subsidiary provides tax advantages for the Trust by delivering some activities through TATTL. It enables the Trust to explore and benefit from new opportunities. TATTL looks after the commercial or quasi-commercial activities of the Trust. It allows the Trust to become involved in a wide range of activities without conflicting with the Trust’s objectives or finances. Any surplus made by TATTL is given to the Trust to contribute to its work and charitable activities.

u3a Matters magazine
The popular u3a members’ magazine is published five times a year and distributed direct to the homes of around 200,000 members.
u3a Brand Shop
Providing publicity materials, logos and templates for u3a groups and a shop with a range of branded merchandise.
u3a Friends Extra
An exclusive discount scheme for members of the u3a Friends newsletter community.
Plans and developments include the creation of more business partnerships and long-term arrangements with organisations that share u3a values and concerns.
