AbilityNet is an organisation with a network of volunteers who offer free technology support, with a focus on accessibility for older people and those with reduced mobility. u3a Online Events bring exciting news of help available with the ever-challenging digital problems that frustrate us all.
Families may be spread all over the world, but with a few digital skills, we can be together: to watch your grandchildren open the birthday gifts you sent them, or to enjoy the satisfaction of learning something which has been out of your reach until now.
AbilityNet is an organisation of volunteers with the skills you need. You may need help to set up a new device, connect to the internet, a problem with a computer virus, or require support to connect to family and friends online.
They can help you by phone, over the internet, or at home. Their volunteers are friendly, and DBS checked. Volunteers can help with most computer systems, laptops, tablets, smartphones and other smart devices like Smart TVs, Alexa speakers and Google Home devices.
Visit the AbilityNet website for more information and support.
