The IGO Chess Club meets at 10:00 on the 2nd and 4th Fridays during the winter months (Oct–Mar). In summer (Apr–Sep), meetings are 4th Friday only. In addition to playing friendly chess games, we also examine interesting puzzles and occasionally grandmaster games or instructive videos. The group is not really intended for beginners. A typical member has played little chess since school days but is interested in taking up the game on retirement.
