Interest Groups Online Groups

Sea wall towards Lundy. Author: Alan Gibbons

The group is for all. Photographs can be taken using your mobile phone or camera. There is no restriction on the subject matter and content, save that it is legal, does not offend and is not upsetting. Images shared should be interesting and appeal to those viewing. We plan to hold Zoom meetings in Feb – Apr – June – Sept – Nov, subject to interest. We continue to successfully share our images and ideas through our own dedicated WhatsApp Group, this means it is always open and available – 24/7. For those who can find subject guidance and ideas useful, subject lists are available through our WhatsApp Group. However, feel free to decide for yourself what you want to photograph and share – being as creative and different as you wish. There are usually no time limits or deadlines to meet, it is simply about joining, sharing and enjoying.  The membership is from across the UK, and beyond. There is no restriction on photographic locations, be it through the kitchen window, in the back garden, or out and about in this big wide world. Images from our own local areas are welcomed and prove popular. The Group can be of interest to those who are less able to get out and about so easily, have hearing loss or have other restrictions to access, inclusion and sharing. Social media and readily available technologies now make it so much easier to join in.

When

We use WhatsApp to share and comment, so we are 24/7. In addition, five  Zoom meetings in a year.
