Trustees Week

It's National Trustees’ Week,  an annual national event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.

The hard work, time and commitment of our thousands of amazing trustees, from those on their local committees to those on the National Board, is crucial to the success of the U3A movement. These have been challenging times for all of us, but particularly for those who have stepped up to take on this responsibility for their U3As and ensure that they are able to keep going, keep joining in, stay safe and continue to learn with fellow members.

This week, we'll be highlighting the amazing work of our trustees on our communications and social media platforms, beginning with Jeremy Shearmur, Chair of Dumfries U3A. Read his piece on being a Chair on our Sources blog.

To acknowledge your fantastic contributions and provide you with support in these busy and demanding roles, we have put together a programme of training workshops and tutorials specifically for trustees across the movement.

Find out more about each events and register your interest on our Online Events page.

Keep checking back on Sources for more Trustees Week content and on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too.
