Womankind
This is a ‘bitesize group, meeting for a limited time, to discuss topics relevant to women’s lives today. Currently six sessions are planned, covering a range of topics.
Group size of maximum 12 gives opportunity for all members to participate in group discussion and conversation in break-out rooms too.
Discussion topics will ask: why so many everyday things we use are designed less ‘user friendly’ for women and how did women get removed from leading faith roles. There is also good news in the topic range – women have long played key roles in protest for change and found their voice with #MeToo.
And the discussions will take a revised look at the older woman – is she the real rebel in society?!
