Womankind
This is a discussion group that meets for 6 sessions (twice monthly for 3 months) covering a range of topics relating to women's lives today. Group size is maximum 14, giving an opportunity for all members to participate in conversations some of which will be in break-out rooms. Discussion topics: The exclusion of important data about women in everyday designing of products, spaces and places. Women as change-makers through revealing their experiences during #MeToo and playing key roles in global protests. Overturning the erasure of women from faith leadership and understanding the effect when women's intelligence is dismissed and discredited. Finally, taking a closer look at being an older woman - is this the real feminist rebel stage!
