I am a guitarist, based in West Yorkshire. On behalf of u3a, I run a music Workshop, now over five years old, …it began with acoustic guitars, but has now broadened out to include bass, fiddle, harmonica, accordion etc…
If you are interested in setting up a guitar group and would like some advice or tips on how to go about it please do get in contact with me.
We play a broad range of music weekly, from blues to Country, Bluegrass, and Folk.
Total members around 25, with around 15-18 meeting weekly.
We occasionally play performances, in Care Homes, etc…
All lyrics and chords are held on a shared Drive, downloaded on tablets … 300 plus songs, and we welcome in new material.
