About the adviser

Ciao a tutti, hello everyone, my name is Tony, and I am really excited to be the u3a Subject Adviser for Italian language. I have had a lifelong passion for Italian since my first visit to Italy as a teenager, and then I was fortunate to spend many years working for a large Italian industrial manufacturing organisation here in the UK and abroad.

After retiring I joined my local u3a in Kenilworth, Warwickshire and set up our first Italian conversation group in 2016, so I feel able, and very happy, to share quite a few years of experience with any current or aspiring Group Leaders where I can.

I will be expanding the information on this page over the coming months, so please check back regularly to see if anything catches your interest.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time via my contact form for guidance and inspiration for a new or existing Italian interest group. I’ll do my very best to help wherever I can.
