u3a 40th Anniversary Blog

The 40th Anniversary Quilt, made up of quilt blocks created by u3a members, is being revealed at the Whitworth Gallery on 17 June.

It's the first time the completed quilt will be seen and the event will be attended by u3a members from across the movement, including several of the members who created quilt blocks.

The quilt celebrates positive ageing and is made up of 40 blocks, each created by a u3a member, group or u3a. The forty were chosen as part of the 2021 Quilt Competition.
