Published : 19 October 2020 Views: 5092

Join us for an event with the National Gallery exploring the art of Artemisia Gentileschi.

In this exclusive event on 24 November, u3a members will discover the artwork and life of Artemisia Gentileschi, who defied conventions by being a successful artist in the 17th century.

The event will consist of two talks given by experts from the National Gallery, the first exploring Gentileschi's artwork and the heroines she depicted, whilst the second will tell the story of her life.

Book your spot on the event here.

The National Events programme has moved online over the last couple of months as we continue to provide exclusive events for u3a members and build upon our partnerships with leading organisations. See more on the Events page here.
