We are delighted to welcome guest speaker, Richard Hill MBE, a pioneer for the development of adapted cricket across the UK.  Please join us as Richard talks to u3a about how sport in general, and cricket in particular, can easily be made accessible to more people.

Working for the England and Wales Cricket Board, Richard’s involvement in disability cricket spans over 25 years. He has been at the forefront of developing disability cricket across the UK and is the national lead on Walking Cricket. Richard was awarded an MBE in last year recognising his long service in this area of sport.

There will also be space at the end of the talk for members' questions about how to adapt sports to make them as inclusive as possible.

This event is a great opportunity for U3A members to learn about making Sport groups more accessible.

The talk will take place on 4 September (Friday) at 2pm.  Book your place.

Details on how to join the event via Zoom will be sent out to all registered participants one day before the event.
