The Trust is embarking on the discovery phase for an exciting new initiative: the Digital Services for u3a (DSU) project. This project represents a significant step forward in ensuring that u3as have the right digital tools and services to support their needs, both now and in the future.

The discovery phase is all about listening - gathering insights, ideas, and feedback to help us plan for the long-term development of digital services that will empower u3as to thrive. We need to explore and understand the current and future needs of u3as across the movement and we are committed to ensuring that developments are shaped by the voices and experiences of u3as across the movement.

An internal project team will be leading this work. Members of the project team have been chosen for their skills and experience in this area, and includes members from the Board and the Beacon and Siteworks team. This team have appointed an external agency, Manifesto, to support with the discovery phase. Manifesto bring expertise in working with organizations like ours. Over the coming weeks, Manifesto will be in touch with some individual u3as to learn more about their experiences and needs. This member engagement is a vital part of the process, and we want to thank you in advance for your openness and input, should you be contacted. We’ll keep you updated as the project progresses and look forward to sharing more about what we learn during this discovery phase.
