u3a 40th Anniversary Blog

June is the time to take advantage of the great British weather, the wide-open spaces and to embrace the great outdoors. We are encouraging u3as all across the UK to take part in a picnic on the park on 1 June to celebrate our 40th anniversary and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. It will showcase that an active life needs to include FUN. 

 

We know there are many picnic hotspots locally that you can choose from. If you’re a coastal u3a, you might be interested in holding a Brunch on the Beach, Cake in the Cove or Sandwiches by the Sea.
