Have you ever wanted to read the Odyssey or Plato’s Republic in the original Greek, but can’t because you don’t know enough Greek or cannot read the characters? This group aims to take the absolute beginner from zero knowledge to a working knowledge of Ancient Greek. Starting with the alphabet and making sure that participants are confident reading Greek words, it will take participants through the rules of inflected Greek with plenty of translation practice and background information.
