As part of u3a's celebration of its 40th Anniversary, a quilt made up of 40 blocks created by members will be unveiled at the Whitworth Gallery on 17 June.

The quilt reflects 'positive ageing' and each block was created by a u3a member or group as part of a 2021 competition. It showcases the incredible crafting talent of the u3a community.

The display on 17 June will be the first time that the quilt has been seen by the public and members are invited along to be a part of the monumental occasion.

Over the next ten days, the u3a social media platforms will be revealing four squares a day. Follow u3a on social media to make sure you don't miss out - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
