The Arctic Convoys
This is the story of one of the most dangerous journeys of WW2. The conditions were arduous and miserable with the constant threat from U-boats, Luftwaffe & the German battleships Tirpitz & Scharnhorst. With interviews from those involved this lecture tells the visual story of the Atlantic Convoys.

Many know about the Atlantic Convoys but other events took place along the US east coast, where the U-boats nearly brought the USA ‘to its knees’.
Includes interviews with a U-boat commander talking about New York Harbour amongst other stories. This is NOT a story of the Atlantic convoys.
