3D printing enables complex objects to be produced directly from computer-generated files. It is increasingly used in manufacturing, medicine, architecture, and most recently was used to make a rocket. 3D printers can also be bought for use at home for a few hundred pounds upwards.

3D printing at home is not just about making things - it is about learning, developing your creativity, finding new solutions to old problems, and being involved in a rapidly changing and growing field of technology.

We discuss problems, ideas and interesting uses of 3D printing. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you have a 3D printer.
