Justice, the Law and Society 2
This is a participatory discussion group which explores a range of topics about the law and our justice system. It is suitable for both those who are new to issues of justice, and those who are already familiar with aspects of the law.
Discussions are from a contemporary and compassionate viewpoint of the topics, which includes: miscarriage of justice, forensic evidence, diminished responsibility, how juries work, landmark laws, protest and the law.
A maximum of 14 members ensures everyone gets to participate in conversations, some of which will be in breakout rooms. Topics are introduced with a mix of short video clip/s and context information for about 15 minutes before the group discussion begins.
