This is a participatory discussion group, exploring a variety of issues that are relevant to women's lives today. 

Meetings are usually once a month on the third Tuesday of the month for much of the year. However, in the Autumn (October – December 2026) there is a different format: a series of 6 sessions, with meetings twice monthly on the first and third Tuesdays.

The 6 topics for this Autumn series are:

1. Gender imbalance in broadcast media;
2. Women's roles in combat and war zones;
3. Sport and the female body;
4. Women and the criminal justice system;
5. Women vs the Tech Bro's;
6. Fairy tales: stereotypes and the importance of stories and reading. 

Context information for each session's topic is given briefly at the start of the meeting before discussion begins, much of it in smaller Zoom breakout rooms.
