Anyone but Agatha
Agatha Christie is well represented in film, TV, reprints and even has a u3a IGO group. Other 'Golden Age' authors receive less exposure, but are equally interesting and merit some attention. This group proposes to bring some of them to light and discuss their work.
We might even look at film and TV adaptations to compare and contrast with the novels – and possibly complain about the casting of characters of whom we've already formed our own mental images.
We will go no farther forward than 1960, but there's no limit on how far back we can go, covering the period of the Golden Age and some years on either side.
