The search is over - we are proud to present the finalists for the u3a Creative Writing Competition 2022. These top 12 entries were chosen from nearly 250 entries.
We are delighted to announce the overall winner as Harriet Hall from Gilwern u3a in Wales with her story 'Cinderella - What Happened Next'. Second place goes to Ian Ledward of Cupar u3a with 'A Cold Comfort Affair'. Third place goes to Jane Telford of Lancaster u3a with 'An Opening into Darkness'.
All of our finalists receive a copy of the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook, edited by Alysoun Owen and published by Bloomsbury.
