Kate, one of our Cttee. members created the eye-catching poster, copies of which we intend to put in local shop windows. We have a small 'park' in the centre of town where we are greeting visitors and locals from 10.00 - 2.00 p.m., chatting to them about the benefits of u3a and distributing leaflets. Adjacent to the park is where our Community Gardening group, led by Margaret Davis, maintains an all-year round display of containerised flowers for the enjoyment of all passers-by. Margaret, with help from several other members, has been very busy planting the flower boxes and will be adding yellow & blue ribbons to create a very attractive communal area." - Linda
